STUDENT STORY

Jessica Lozano German/Spanish Class of 2021

Give us an example of the Hult network in action?

My first internship was as a market research intern with Hult Founders Lab, which led me to meet my future boss, Fathia Ainane, a senior loan consultant who then invited me for an interview. That led to them creating an internship position for me as risk analytics and loan operations intern at Accion East. I’ve accepted an offer in California with Sonos as a corporate accounting intern, which I was referred to by my mentor.

How have you used what you learned in class outside?

I was invited to the Dominican Republic for TEDx Punta Cana Women and gave the same “TED Talk” I had written for my Storytelling and Persuasion class the year before with my professor, Tessa Misiaszek, about dyslexia. Skills I've gained in confidence and presenting helped me become co-president of Women+ in Business and the vice program director at Hult Founders Lab.
