Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA)
The Doctorate in Business Administration is a terminal degree rooted in relevance and applied research. It is a professional doctorate for those made to do – our students come from various backgrounds, from executives in multinational companies, and lecturers at several universities to founders of their businesses. Your DBA at a glance
The Hult DBA is a flexible, accelerated 2.5 year program with a combination of structured online classes and on-campus residencies at our campuses around the world. Our unique educational approach takes you beyond business to study every topic through a global lens, master working cross-culturally, leverage disruptive technologies to shape the future, and develop the deep self-awareness needed to lead effectively and with confidence.
The Hult DBA is a US degree, accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
FORMAT & LOCATIONS
Challenge-focused doctoral curriculum
Online Seminars
Attend regular live online sessions with your cohort to discuss your learnings with Hult and guest faculty, who also act as your mentors and peers.
On-campus residencies
Three times each year, you’ll travel to one of Hult’s campuses in the US, UK and UAE.
Independent study
You’ll be required to complete readings, online tutorials, and asynchronous online learning as well as deliver regular written submissions.

By the completion of your program, you will have written three academic papers suitable for publication.
2 practicums
Lead two workshops that guide students, clients, or peers from your company through the application of your solution
1 dissertation
Your final dissertation is comprised of the integration of all your projects into a single coherent report, that presents your conclusions and reflects all of your analyses and learnings. Finally, you will defend this dissertation in front of a panel of academic scholars.
